We are so relieved that these sweet Philly puppies were rescued from a box in the cold weather. Temps in many areas are in the teens or single digits – no weather for any living thing to be outside.
This is totally preventable and unacceptable. Bring your dogs and cats in at night. If you see an animal in distress, call your local police or animal control or a rescue. Sometimes it helps if you can keep the animal in your garage or somewhere in your house till help can arrive.
